Well, in IE this "transparency" is grey --TarmoK 13:40, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

- For as long as the most widely used internet browser doesn't support transparency, can we please have a copy with either a white background, or in a format that doesn't look as bad as this one in IE? -- Quistnix 08:17, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Use elsewhere to accompany link to Commons
Any problem loading copies to Wikicities for use in links to Commons? Robin Patterson 11:23, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
- Well, the Wikimedia Foundation doesn't release any rights to the logo. I guess you could use it on Wikicities under the "fair use" clause, but not otherwise. User:dbenbenn 17:47, 25 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] "TM"
Shouldn't such images have a little "TM" or something, visibly stuck to their edge, to be fully protected legally? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 140.115.52.248 (talk • contribs) at 14:21, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Smaller size
User:Dbc334 just changed the image to be slightly smaller... I have no idea why. Anyone know? ~MDD4696 07:33, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Metaphor?
Hi, I was wondering, what exactly does this logo represent, anyway? A blue arrow going around a red dot and heading off in the distance, containing smaller blue arrows going to the dot, doesn't really clarify the purpose of Wikimedia Commons concretely in my mind. --72.84.157.20 16:06, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
